WELCOME TO RICHMOND TOWNSHIP IN ST. CROIX COUNTY
We are located here in Western Wisconsin and have the best of two worlds. We have the close proximity of the St. Paul/Minneapolis metropolitan area, which is approximately 35 miles away and we also have the small town life in a rural community. In 2013, our final estimated population is 3,375, with an estimated 2,275 eligible voters. Richmond Township has been primarily an agricultural area, but that has changed over the past few years with numerous housing developments.
Richmond Township is governed by a 5 person town board, plus the clerk and treasurer. This change from a 3 person board took effect on April 14, 2009.
We are very proud also of our recycling center and invite your attention to that page.
