WELCOME TO RICHMOND TOWNSHIP IN ST. CROIX COUNTY

We are located here in Western Wisconsin and have the best of two worlds.  We have the close proximity of the St. Paul/Minneapolis metropolitan area, which is approximately 35 miles away and we also have the small town life in a rural community.  In 2007, we have an estimated population of 2,767 and an estimated 1,962 eligible voters.  Richmond Township has been primarily an agricultural area, but that has changed over the past few years with numerous housing developments.

Richmond Township is governed by a 3 person town board, plus the clerk and treasurer.  In a decision made at the annual meeting in April of 2007, we will have a 5 person board beginning in April of 2009.

We are very proud also of our recycling center and invite your attention to that page.

To contact the town chairperson, call 715-246-5448.  The town clerk can be reached at 715-246-4092.

This website is being developed as a public service primarily for the use of our residents, and will, in the future, provide meeting notices, minutes, and other relevant information.  Please reference also the disclaimer link.
