NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING
AND
SPECIAL TOWN
MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2009
BUDGET for the Town of Richmond will be held at the Town Hall on
November 13, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. The proposed budget in detail is
available for inspection at the clerk’s office by appointment.
Following is a summary of the proposed budget:
REVENUES
Tax levy $286,586.00
Intergovernmental Revenue 187,165.00
Mobile Home 3,400.00
Licenses & Permits 30,000.00
Recycling/Dumpster Revenue 29,500.00
Miscellaneous Revenue 9,400.00
TOTAL REVENUES 546,051.00
EXPENDITURES
General Government $146,591.00
Public Safety 67,960.00
Sanitation 24,500.00
Highway 307,000.00
TOTAL EXPENDITURES 546,051.00
Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008 immediately
following the Public Hearing on the proposed 2009 budget, which begins
at 6:00 p.m. at the Richmond Town Hall, a Special Town Meeting of the
electors will be called, pursuant to Section 60.12 (1) (c) of
Wisconsin Statutes:
1. To approve the total 2009 highway expenditures pursuant to Sec.
81.01 (3) of the
Wisconsin State Statutes.
2. To adopt the 2008 town tax levy to be paid in 2009 pursuant to
Sec. 60.10 (1) (a) of the Wisconsin State Statutes.
The regular monthly Town Board meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m.,
following the Special Town Meeting. Dated this 23rd day of October,
2008.
